    Indrahar pass trek is an offbeat and splendid trek which goes via Triund. Most of the trekkers or travelers goes stops at Triund and ends their trekking with a beautiful view of Kangra Valley. But kangra valley has much more to offer beyond Triund and this can be understood if you go for Indrahar Pass Trek. The trek to Triund is quite easy and simple yet rewarding. Through a mixed forests of Deodar, Oak and Rhododendron you reach galu devi temple and then Triund hilltop. on the way you cross Guna pani which is a famous campsite for different other treks in Himachal Pradesh

    Next day, on 2nd day of Indrahar pass trek package, you start trek from Triund and reach Laka Got. It is famous among the shepherds for staying at night in temporary staying arrangement under the beautiful himalan sky. Himalayan treks are very attractive all over the world for the availability of this kind of camping places. Laka Got is just around a small glacier which gives you your first encounter with glaciers before reaching the pass.

    From Laka Got our aim is to reach to Indrahar pass as early as possible and again come back to Laka for night . The weather in this region of Himalaya changes very rapidly. So we start early, finish Indrahar Pass Trek final stretch within 3-4 hours and come back from the pass to Laka

    From Laka descend back to Triund and finally reach to Mcleodganj. Its a descend so easily we can cover approx. 16 km in one day. Once back to Triund, the Indrahar pass trek package is over

    Day 1 : Mcleodganj to Triund Trek via Galu (9 Kms/ 5‐6 Hours/2975 Meters)

    Day 2 : Triund to Laka Got Trek (07 Kms/6‐7 Hours/3700 Meters)

    Day 3 : Laka Got to Indrahar Pass Trek – back to Laka Got (12 Kms/8‐9 Hours/4300 Meters)

    Day 4 : Laka Got ‐ Mcleodganj Trek (15 Kms/6‐7 Hours)

    • Cancellation of booking of tour 1 month or more before the date of Departure will result in 10% deduction in the cost of the tour.
    • Cancellation of booking of tour 21-30 days before the date of Departure will result in 40% deduction of the cost of the tour.
    • Cancellation of booking of tour 11-20 days before the date of Departure will result in 60% deduction of the cost of the tour.
    • Cancellation of booking of tour 6-10 days before the date of Departure will result in 80% deduction of the cost of the tour.
    • Cancellation of booking of tour 1-5 days before the date of Departure will result in 100% deduction of the cost of the tour.

    Guidance

    • Trekkers are reminded that there is a 10kg limit on personal luggage for all climbs.
    • Tell us if you have any problem regarding to Altitude sickness or breathing.
    • We do not provide donkeys or porters to carry luggage.
    • Cameras, whether video or film, needed to be protected against the severe cold. We're not responsible if any damage is done.
    • No insurance is provided during the trek.
    • When between camps, please carry your daily personal rubbish like plastic to the next camp.  Hand it over to us at the end of trek, we'll take care of it.
    • Remember – “Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints”. So, keep the mountains clean and green.
    • Strong painkillers are not recommended as they can suppress respiration.
    • Personal expense of any kind will not be entertained.

     

    Personal Equipment Required:

     

    • Trekking Shoes (Waterproof will be a plus point)
    • Comfortable, lightweight clothing.
    • Sunglasses or goggles.
    • Woollen Cap for warmth.
    • Torch.
    • Reading materials, Games, Cards. (Optional)
    • Towel especially lightweight quick-dry type.
    • Track pants with more pockets. Carry around 1 extra pant. Avoid jeans.
    • Light Jacket
    • A raincoat since the weather can be unpredictable sometimes.
    • Identification proof like Passport, Driving license, Aadhar card etc.
    • 1 Passport size photograph.
