What is an InstaMeet?
An InstaMeet is a meetup where a group of Instagrammers meet to talk, interact and take photos and videos together. That's it! An InstaMeet can happen anywhere with ny numberof people. They're a great opportunity to share tips and tricks with other community members in your area, and an excuse to get out and explore someplace new!
Plus, you get to meet your favourite Instagrammers that you’ve been Insta-stalking forever and they are all super nice! I promise.
How do i join and what do i need ?
All you need to do is show up! If you have any questions, simply leave a comment on the photo announcing the InstaMeet.
And you just need an Instagram account, your phone and a desire to connect and explore with other Instagrammers.
How much we charge for it ?
We Charge Nothing! InstaMeets are free , no we're not joking
Why would we charge anything for getting to know each other ?
The Invite
We send out an invitation on our Instagram account. The photo have all the details of the event over the top of the image, letting you know when and where to meet for the Instameet.
Instagrammers Assemble
When you turn up to the Instameet, be on the look-out for a group of people standing around looking at their smartphones and carrying photography gear. These are your peeps.
Meet and Greet and what's your Handle ?
While you wait a few minutes to make sure the whole group has arrived, meet and talk trash with your fellow Instagrammers. This is the time to get any tips about apps, photography and anything else Instagram related.
INSTAMEET TIP: Introduce yourself by letting people know what your Instagram handle is (no one will know your actual name but may recognise your username).
What's the deal ?
We will let you all know the plans for the next hour or so.
Instameets can work a few ways:

1. We all disperse to set up your position to catch the sunset, sunrise, or whatever is at the location worth photographing.
2. We do a photo walk from point A to point B and take photos along the way.
3. We can have conversations on a certain topic, we'll play games and will surely explore the place.

You don’t need to be a professional photographer to go along to an Instameet. If you have a smartphone, you’re set.

It’s not a nerd fest. Instameets are super social and friendly. You do spend a bit of time taking photos, editing and uploading, but for the most part it’s all about the social experience.

Instameets are the best place to learn new things, keep up with Instagram and editing app updates, and it’s all very practical advice.
